The HDD1100 recovers MPEG-2 input from the asynchronous serial interface (ASI). It decodes MPEG-2 MP@HL video and Dolby® AC-3® audio and outputs SMPTE-292M digital video with embedded audio in SMPTE-299M format. It provides multiple ports for local monitoring and displays ASTC PSIP information on screen.
