Description
The Starburst SB-HDQP-2130 (ATSC to QAM Processor) receives terrestrial off-air ATSC signals then transcodes them along with any sub-channels to an MPEG-2 Clear QAM channel output. Signals are then transported (via QAM head end) over a typical RF Coaxial and/or HFC Fiber distribution network. Each SB-HDQP-2130 module accepts 2 ATSC or 2 QAM inputs and has 2 QAM output channels. Each SB-HDQP-2130 chassis accepts 6 modules therefore each chassis can handle 12 ATSC HD inputs along with their sub-channels.
