3.1 meter Shield & Ice Quake System

Quake System – Ice Quake system to operate on 24VAC @ 35 watts of power to include the vibrating motor and housing, PS-2 automatic moisture sensor to activate the Ice Quake system when moisture is present. Enhances the performance of the Snow Shield antenna cover by vibrating the fabric cover, preventing snow and ice accumulation that degrade signals. Ice Quake enables huge, up to 100x, energy savings versus competing anti-ice systems. The Ice Quake Assemblies are installed on the edge of the antenna reflector by drilling 2 each 3/8 holes into the edge of the reflector and mounting the vibration isolator pads. These pads cause the vibration to transfer into the Snow Shield and not into the antenna reflector. The 2.4 meter uses 1. The 3.1-3.8 meter uses 2. The 4.2 meter uses 3. The 5.0+ meter uses 4+ ice quake units.
